Police in Timmins, Ont., say a father intentionally drove a car carrying his two children into a lake last week, killing everyone in the vehicle.

Investigators say the case is being investigated as a homicide.

Police say the father and two children died after the vehicle sank in Little Pearl Lake last Friday.

Investigators identified them as seven-year-old Isabella Ottoson, 11-year-old Simon Ottoson and their father, 42-year-old Julien Ottoson.

Police say the car and three bodies were recovered from the water on Saturday.

The force says its investigation continues.
